Position Summary:
The Residential Construction Project Scheduler will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless coordination and scheduling of multiple high-end residential construction projects on our Software Platform “Builder Trend”.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. While construction knowledge is helpful, it is not a requirement. Problem-solving skills and adapting to changing priorities are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- · Develop and manage detailed project schedules for multiple residential construction projects.
- · Coordinate with superintendent, project coordinator, subcontractors, homeowners, and vendors to ensure timelines are met.
- · Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes or delays.
- · Identify potential scheduling conflicts and proactively propose solutions.
- · Communicate schedule updates and changes to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
- · Maintain accurate records of project timelines, milestones, and deadlines.
- · Assist with administrative and organizational tasks to support the construction team.
- · Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Qualifications:
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing priorities.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
· Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) or willingness to learn.
· Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology is helpful but not required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
